Silkscreen is the medium I have worked in most often from 2017-2021, to produce my original prints. I’m drawn to it’s variety of effects, speed and spontaneity of silkscreen. The process of silkscreen makes these works possible. Most are unique prints, or are created in very small variable sets, or editions.

Silkscreen prints have a tactile surface; the way the ink lays down on the paper, layers over itself, the play of transparent and opaque colors, all come together to create a singular work that can’t be replicated in a digital print. Some of these images are built up like paintings, and you can think of them as paintings on paper. Read more about how these are made on my blog.

Framed prints hang on the walls of a gallery, seen through two large windows of Day & Night Projects space.
